OBJECT:  LAWS, DIRECTIVES, REGULATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS OF FIELD PUBLISHED IN THE OFFICIAL JOURNAL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITEE IN THE COURSE OF YEAR 2001.  

In attached we send a series of interesting texts for radio tv activity: 

• Opinion of the Economic and Social Committee respect to the “Communication of the Commission to the Council, the European Parliament, the Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions –  Principles and Guidelines for audiovisual politics of the Community in the digital era”  (G.U.C.E. 2001/C14/22 of the 16/01/2001); 

• Decision of the Council of 22 December 2000 that adopts the multi annual community program to stimulate the development and the use of the digital European contents in the global networks and to promote the linguistic diversity in the society of information (G.U.C.E. L14 of the 18/01/2001);  

• Resolution of the European Parliament about the communication of the Commission to the Council, the European Parliament, the economic and social Committee and the Committee of the regions on “The next stages of politics about radio spectrum - results of the public consultation on the Green Book";  (G.U.C.E. C 59 of the 23/02/2001); 

• Resolution of the European Parliament about the communication of the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council, the economic and social Committee and the Committee of the regions about “The evolution of the services market of digital television in the European Union –  Relation about the interpretations of directive 95/47/CE of the European Parliament and the Council, of 24 relative October 1995 to the application of norms for the transmission of Tv signals”  (COM(1999) 540 –  C5-0114/2000 –  2000/2074 (COS) (G.U.C.E. C 67 of the 01/03/2001); 

• Resolution of the European Parliament about the communication of the Commission to the Council, the European Parliament, the economic and social Committee and the Committee of the regions –  Principles and guidelines for audiovisual politics of the Community in the digital era (COM(1999) 657 –  C5-0144/2000 –  2000/2087(COS) (G.U.C.E. C 135 of the 07/05/2001); 

• Recommendation of the Council of the 5 June 2001 on the alcoholic drink consumption from part of young people, in particular children and adolescents (G.U.C.E. 2001/458/CE of the 16/06/2001); 

• Directive 2001/29/CE of the European Parliament and the 22 Council of May 2001 on the harmonization of some aspects of the copyright and the rights connected in the society of information (G.U.C.E. L 167 of the 22/06/2001);  

•   Resolution of the European Parliament on the communication of the Commission “Studio on the parents control of Television programs”  (COM(1999) 371 –  C5-0324/1999 –   1999/2210 (COS) (G.U.C.E. C 178 of the 22/06/2001); 

• Publication second art.  3 bis, paragraph 2, of directive 89/552/CEE of the Council, concerning the coordination of determined legislative, prescribed and administrative dispositions of the States members concerning the exercise of television activities, modified from directive 97/36/CE of the European Parliament and Council (G.U.C.E. C 208 of the 26/07/2001); 

• Commission invitation to introduce proposal 67/2001 MEDIA Plus–  Development, distribution and promotion (2001-2005). Performance of the program of support to development, distribution and promotion of European audiovisual works – Support to the promotion and the income in the market of audiovisual festival (G.U.C.E. C 298/08 of the 24/10/2001); 

• Commission invitation to introduce proposed 67/2001 MEDIA Plus –  Development, distribution and promotion (2001-2005). Performance of the program of support to the development, the distribution and the promotion of European audiovisual works – Support to the promotion and the income in the market of the actions to establish networks of cooperation between audiovisual European festival (G.U.C.E. C 298/09 of the 24/10/2001);
